Grandma's Sweet Cornbread

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup cornmeal mix (yellow - Martha White Self-rising Yellow cornmeal mix)
1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 cups milk

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs beat until fluffy.  Add cornmeal. Stir the flour, baking powder and salt together.  Add to batter alternating with milk.  Beat until smooth.  Spray a 9 x 13 pan with cooking spray and add batter to pan.  Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Cook about 25 minutes or until slightly brown
