1 Cup sugar
¼ cup cornstarch
3 Tbsp Jell-o powder
1 cup cold water
1 pint fresh strawberries
1 ¾ cup cold milk
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
3 medium banana
1 Tbsp lemon juice
6 cups Angel Food or Pound cake
2 cups cool whip
In saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch, and Jello. Stir in water until smooth. Bring to a boil, cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat and cool. Add the sliced strawberries and set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix. Beat on low for 2 min and set aside. Toss bananas with lemon juice, drain and set aside. Place half the cake cubes in a trifle bowl or 3 quart bowl. Layer with half of the pudding, bananas, strawberry sauce and whipped cream. Repeat layers.
