1-2 lbs ground chuck
Salt and pepper
Make into hamburger patties. Press the edges tightly so they hold together. Make a hole in center of each patty with your little finger or a straw. Spray a skillet with cooking spray. Cook on med high heat about 3 minutes, turn cook 3 more minutes, turn one more time 3 more minutes. Cook until 180 degrees or juice in the center is clear.
Make brown sauce to pour over when serving.
Serve with Cream potatoes and Brown Sauce or let the kids have bread and pretend it’s a hamburger.
Brown Sauce
Brown Sauce
4 Tablespoons margarine
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 teaspoon beef-flavored bouillon granules or 2 bouillon cubes
2 cups water
¼ teaspoon pepper
Melt margarine in saucepan and add flour. Cook one minute. Add beef bouillon, water and pepper. Cook and stir about 5 minutes.
