Heavenly Icing

1 cup sour cream
1½ cups powdered sugar (sifted)
8 oz. carton cool whip

Stir sugar into sour cream.  Carefully fold sour cream into cool whip.  DON’T OVER STIR. Spread on cake.  This is great on carrot cake and makes a good base for adding coconut to a frosting.
