Sausage

1 pound unsliced sausage



Slice sausage through the packaging.  1 pound should make about 10 patties.  Use a bumpy knife like a steak knife.  Spray skillet with cooking spray.  Turn on medium-high heat cook 3 minutes on one side.  Turn patties over and cook on low for 10-15 minutes.  They cook best with a lid but okay without one.  After 10 minutes stack sausage 3-4 high (enough to go over half way up a meat thermometer) and temp using a meat thermometer.  Don’t let the thermometer touch the pan. Sausage is done at 155 degrees or higher.
