Brown Sauce

4 Tablespoons margarine
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoon beef-flavored bouillon granules or 2 beef bouillon cubes
2 cups water
¼ teaspoon pepper

Melt margarine in saucepan on medium heat, add flour, stirring until smooth.  Cook one minute.  Add water, beef bouillon and pepper.  Stir until smooth, then cook about 5 minutes.
