Tater Tot Casserole


2 lbs. ground beef
2 teaspoons minced onion
2 cans cream of chicken
½ cup light sour cream
8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
1 2# bag tater tots
½ stick of butter melted (1/4 cup)

Brown ground beef.  Leave meat in big pieces, like grape size.  Drain, add onions, soup, and sour cream and mix until all one color.  Spray a 9x13 pan and pour meat mixture in and spread it evenly to edge of pan.  Spread 8 ounces of cheese over meat.  Cover the cheese with a layer of tater tots.  Brush the tater tots with the melted butter.  Bake 30 minutes in a pre-heated oven at 400 degrees.  It should be bubbly and the tater tots slightly browned.  Serves 6
