Mary’s Taco Salad


1-1/2 lb ground beef
1 taco package seasoning mix
1 ounce can tomato sauce
1 can pinto beans
Brown meat, drain and add seasoning pack and tomato sauce.  Rinse beans good and add to meat.  Heat on medium low heat until hot.  Keep meat warm until salad is ready to serve.  

1 head of lettuce, washed and torn for salad
4 tomatoes cut into bit sized pieces
1 bunch green onions cut small
8 ounces of cheese, grated



When ready to serve add meat, chips and dressing to salad. Toss all together.
1 small bag Frito chips
1 small bottle French fat free salad dressing or Red Sauce Dressing

Red Sauce Dressing
3/4 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Vinegar
1/3 cup Water
1/3 cup Ketchup
2 T Worcestershire Sauce
A dash of Onion Powder
Whisk together, let sit for 3 minutes, whisk again until blended.
